I love working with self-proclaimed "performers" and perfectionists, men and women who are high achievers and influencers but have a strong inner critic, fueled by fear and shame. They are often highly intuitive (empaths, even!), are often entrepreneurs, are burnt out and seeking personal growth and freedom from habits and behaviors that hold them in bondage. I also love working with people in transitory stages in their lives, specifically, new mothers.

• How much does therapy cost?

  • Therapy sessions cost $150 for a 60-minute session and $225 for a 90-minute session. (Most EMDR sessions and Couple's Sessions are scheduled for 90 minutes)

• What forms of payment do you accept?

  • All major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and cash

• Why don’t you take my insurance?

  • Unfettered Counseling is out-of-network and has chosen not to accept insurance at this time for several important reasons. I believe strongly in protecting the confidentiality of my clients. Unfortunately, when a therapist bills sessions through an insurance company, the insurance company requires a mental health diagnosis, which has the potential of raising your deductible. Additionally, insurance companies often limit the number of sessions, which severely restricts the therapeutic techniques available both to the therapist and the client.  I believe this is not always in the best interest of the client’s well-being and work hard to insure the appropriate and most beneficial therapeutic services rendered to each client.​

             

• What is your cancellation policy?

  • Please allow 24 hours’ notice if you cannot make your appointment.  After your second missed appointment, you will be charged a full session fee.

  • My physical office is located inside Island Massage, Building F-1 of the Fessler Center. Please come into the front door. Have a seat, enjoy some tea or coffee, and I'll be with you shortly!
  • Online via Telehealth. Once we make an appointment for a Telehealth session, I will send you a secure link that you can access through your email.
